I really liked the making of the Atomic bomb... In the middle there's all this nuclear physics stuff, and chem stuff.... It's really long- about 800 pages...but i highly recommend it:)

I've been looking for Silent Spring on the list but I haven't been able to find it. What is it about anyway.

oh yes.....ha....gotta love it
best part is that they really only stopped using DDT because it stopped being effective on mosquitos.....if they were still vulnerable to it....killing off our national bird? no biggie

I told my brother about the book...and then he started drawing cartoons of people dying from A-bombs. Now he's writing a book about people dying from H-bombs.........If you don't mind scarring your brother..the making of the Atomic bomb is good,,,,but now AJD(aka little doddster)(or aka the "smart one") has a new obsession i.e. learning how to build an H-bomb. Help!!! save me from the little obssesive monser!!!!!!!
