Hey People, lets try not to stink at life!
try to like come up with some stuff or something to make our simulation.. er better.... or to atleast to keep in mind while doing the simulation so that our out papers are ok
here's some stuff i wrote down when we were first given the assignment that might be useful
(we're) creating such a comitee to investigate the economic problems of the mid 1890's with specific reference to the financial poilicies of the gvt.
Be sure to include the relative success and failure of the interstate commerce act (1887) and the Sherman Anti-trust act (1820)
Similar to a testimony before a comitee or congress (usually in three parts) we're going to only be doing the prepared statement in public session and a question period
The out paper which is due Oct 27
We abandon our role and take on that of an impartial observer.
We are writing a proposed set of laws or modifications to existing la, a defense of present policies, or some combination of the two.
Defend your position citing specific testimony from the witneses-- other research is necessary
